Hyunjin-Dominique Cho

Hyunjin-Dominique Cho is a Catholic laywoman whose sixteen years of experience in liturgical ministries spans both Canada and South Korea. Her deep love for Christ and the Church first took root through praying the Rosary while studying as an exchange student in Canada. Since then, she has consistently engaged in the altar serving ministry throughout high school, university, and her professional life, alongside several other parish liturgical roles. Having returned to her native South Korea as a Canadian citizen, Cho currently serves as an adult altar server and secretary for the St. Tarcisius Adult Altar Server Group at St. Pio Parish in Seoul. To further deepen her faith, she is completing theological formation at the Catholic Catechetical Institute in Seoul and is an active lay member of Regnum Christi. Drawing upon her cross-cultural pastoral experiences and theological studies, she authored "The Heart of Altar Serving." Through this work, Cho seeks to guide both new and experienced servers in approaching their ministry not merely as a functional role, but as a deeply formative spiritual path rooted in reverence, love, and baptismal identity.
